It's finally turkey time!
Its the time of year where we all come together, furry and not, to celebrate life, family and (arguably) most importantly, food.
We gather around the table and all pup lovers know of the inevitable death stare of begging we get from our furry friends. We also know that they will, more likely than not, be fed a table scrap or two...or ten.
Penny's Pupplies wants to make sure you and your pup enjoy Thanksgiving to fullest. USA Today compiled this list of food and beverages that you should not feed dogs.
Avoid these 9 foods to keep your pup healthy and happy this holiday:
- Garlic & Onions
- Grapes & Raisins
- Macadamia Nuts
- Salty Foods
- Raw Yeast Dough
Some additional tips you should keep in mind:
- Keep guests bags, coats/jackets out of reach of your pup
- Keep table scrap feedings to a minimum.
- Make sure meats are fully cooked and stick to the veggies
